Making Lemonade from Lemons.  Beach Camp has been cancelled for quite sometime now, however, the beaches in Alabama are now open as well is the Gulf Shores Beach Retreat. Having the hopes of still doing 'something' the idea of FAMP (Family Camp) has been developed and is being planned.  This is a definite LAST MINUTE opportunity and plan, especially compared to all the work that goes into planning and taking a group to summer camp.  The advantage to this situation is: 1) our group is very familiar with the Gulf Shores Beach Retreat, 2) everyone is getting themselves there - so I don't have to arrange transportation, and 3) it's the BEACH.

Once the group is established, we'll have a couple of meetings via zoom or in person to manage some of the details (meals & schedule).

By no means is this a 'Beach Vacation' that you would normally take with your family.  It's FAMP! It's sure to be a LOT of FUN and a lot of memories will be made for sure!  

*After you sign up your group, you will be contacted on how you can pay deposits. 
*We need a minimum of 55 people to commit for this to happen.  
*Every person over 55, lowers the cost for all, however, 80 is our max.   
*Remember: the housing situation is bunkhouse, so you won't be sleeping with your spouse, and it might be difficult for the younger kids(?)
*This is not designed to be exclusively for families of children and youths.  It's a FAMILY CAMP.  We've never done anything like this before, we are blazing trails...and writing it as we go...hope you can be a part.   

My goal for FAMP is to create an environment that will encourage deep and lasting relationships, that seek to openly follow Christ together.
