A place for information about our 5th & 6th Grade Ministry.
Please sign up for 5.6 Mission Retreat by Sunday, Oct 11. Payment should be made at the event. Meet at the Red Building of FSBC on Saturday, Oct 17 at 9:00 AM. A what to bring and wear list will be published soon. We will be doing community service / mission project in the AM and early afternoon, then we will be headed to Lollie Corn Maze. Sleeping over at the church building and ready to go home after the 11:00 Worship Service.

SATURDAY:
9:00 AM Meet at the GREEN building of FSBC (eat breakfast before you come) 10:00 AM Leave for Ministry Project at local Elementary School. 12:00 PM Return to FSBC for Lunch 1:30-4:00 Pass Out Trunk or Treat and Encourager info in Neighborhoods 5:00 Dinner and Leave for Lollie CornMaze 10:00 Late night Snacks and Games 11:30 Lights Out |
SUNDAY:
7:00: Wake up and Go to Homes to Shower / get cleaned up. 8:30: Breakfast Back at FSBC or location TBD 9:15: 5.6 Life Group 10:30: Attend Worship Service together 12:00 Go Home (don't forget your stuff!) |
WHAT TO BRING
-Sleeping Bag
-Air Mattress (if you want)
-Clothes to sleep in
-Towel
-Bathroom stuff
-Clothes that don't have to stay clean (will be pulling weeds at school and picking up trash)
-Warm stuff to wear to the corn maze
-Clothes for Sunday Church
-Flash Light
-Any $ if they want to purchase something at CornMaze
-Bible

-iDevices or Alligators

WHERE & WHEN WE MEET: Sunday AM: 9:00 AM at First Southern Baptist Church. Here we gather in our 5th & 6th grade class to be challenged to grow in our faith, challenge each other, and ask questions about what following Jesus Christ looks like.
Wednesday: 5.6 Midpoint, 6:30 - 7:45. We meet in the BLUE building. We come together on this night to hang out, have fun, play games, sing along with LOUD music (we go to join with our Student Ministry live band), meet in small groups and are challenged to follow Christ more intentionally. |
